The Korean Language Teacher Certification

Georgia State University is offering the first program in Georgia for Korean Language Teacher Certification which provides teacher preparation in Foreign Language Education for individuals holding a bachelor’s degree and who have an interest in teaching Korean in pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade settings. The program meets the requirements for professional certification at the initial level and the World Language Teacher Certification Certificate is awarded. Financial support is offered to students enrolled in the program.

Minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA, an evidence of a minimum of Advanced Low proficiency on the ACTFL(American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages), recommendation letters and etc. is required for this program.
